Andrew Styperek, MD, FAAD

Dr. Andrew Styperek is a board-certified dermatologist, certified vein specialist, and fellowship trained board-certified Mohs surgeon. Andrew completed his undergraduate education and M.B.A. at Harvard University in Boston, MA, and medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed dermatology residency at the University of Miami School Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident from 2013-2014. After residency, he completed additional fellowship training in Mohs, laser and cosmetic surgery with Dr. Leonard Goldberg at Houston Methodist Hospital. He later completed certification with the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine in 2018, completing over 200 vein procedures and passing a rigorous national examination to receive this distinction.  In 2021, Dr. Styperek became formally board-certified in Mohs surgery, passing the first-ever national examination in this sub-specialty.

​Dr. Styperek is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). He is also a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and American Vein & Lymphatic Society (AVLS). Dr. Styperek has conducted clinical research and lectured internationally. He also has numerous publications in peer-review journals. His clinical interests include skin cancer detection and treatment and the management of venous disease. He is an avid tennis player since his days on the NCAA Division I Harvard Tennis Team and an outdoor enthusiast. Dr. Styperek speaks English, Spanish, and Polish and lives with his family in Broward County, Florida.
