Clinical Trials

Clearlyderm offers several Clinical Research Studies. Participating in a Clinical Research Study can allow you to gain access to drugs and medications before they are made available to the general public. Our research team is led by Dr. Andrea Colton M.D., FAAD and Erika Luceri, MPH, PA-C.

If eligible, you will receive all study-related medical care and study-related medicine at no cost. Participants may receive a stipend and reimbursement for travel expenses. No medical insurance is needed.

We are now recruiting patients for the following research studies:

PEMPHIGUS VULGARIS / PEMPHIGUS FOLIACEUS

Pemphigus Vulgaris and Pemphigus Foliaceus are in a family of auto immune diseases that affect the skin and mucous membrane and cause blisters and sores in the mouth and throughout the body.

BullousPemphigoid

PEDIATRIC PSORIASIS

A skin disorder that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. This makes the skin build up into bumpy red patches covered with white scales. They can grow anywhere, but most appear on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back.

ATOPIC DERMATITIS / ECZEMA

Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a skin condition caused by inflammation of the skin. Typically, eczema causes skin to become itchy, red and dry-even cracked and leathery. Over 30 million Americans have some form of eczema.

Eczema

PRURIGO NODULARIS (PN)

A skin disease that causes hard, itchy lumps (nodules) to form on the skin. The itching (pruritus) can be intense, causing people to scratch themselves to the point of bleeding or pain. Scratching can cause more skin lesions to appear.
